Tenders are invited from insurance companies and brokers pre-qualified by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and registered with the National Contracts Commissions (NCC) to provide insurance services for the Urban Development Corporation (UDC).
Pre-qualified brokers and insurers will be required to submit in their tenders:
(i) Copies of valid and current Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or copy of current and valid Tax Compliance Letter (TCL) indicating that they are tax compliant at the time of submission of tenders;
(ii) Copies of valid and current National Contracts Commission (NCC) registration in the respective category of General Insurance, confirming validity at the time of Tender;
(iii) A Like-for-Like Proposal and one (1) Alternative Proposal;
(iv) Summary of each proposal;
(v) Duly completed and signed Declaration Form;
(vi) Duly completed and signed Disclaimer;
(vii) Duly completed and signed Form of Tender.

· Motor Contingent Liability
· Private Comprehensive Motor Cycle

The period of placement will be for three (3) years, commencing May 1, 2018.
This is an online tender, where tenders documents and bids will only be made available and accepted via the electronic Government Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm).
Tender documents will be made available, for download, as of Wednesday, October 4, 2017.
The deadline for submission of bids shall be: Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. The time displayed on the e-GP System will be used as the bid submission time.
Bid submission after the stipulated deadline date and time will be automatically rejected by the electronic portal.
No offline (hard copies) will be accepted and there will be no physical tender box for drop-off of tender documents.

Tenders submitted after this time and date will automatically be disqualified.
The Urban Development Corporation reserves the right not to accept the lowest, or any other tender or to annul the tender process and reject all tenders at any time prior to the award without incurring any liability.
