Reach Falls Offers Easter Special

Patrons looking for exciting destinations to visit during the Easter holidays can take advantage of special group rates being offered at the Reach Falls in Portland. The attraction is offering a complimentary pass to every group of 10 persons or more.

Reach Falls which is operated by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is located on the Driver’s River, some 33 km east of Portland’s capital, Port Antonio. The attraction is open to visitors Wednesdays to Sundays and public holidays from 8:30am to 4:30 pm at the affordable cost of J$300 and J$150 for Jamaican residents; adults and children respectively. For non-resident visitors, the cost is US$10 for visitors over 12 years and US$5 for those aged 4-12 years, respectively.

Visitors to the attraction can expect a 30 minute tour of the Driver’s River which feeds the falls, and exposure to the 4.6 hectare property, which boasts tremendous natural beauty, a peaceful atmosphere, an engaging waterfall and significant biodiversity. The distinctive features of the attraction include the pristine cascading falls, the underwater cave and the heart-shaped Jacuzzi, which is naturally formed.
