JCDC Festival Song Competition finalist Escarpment Road New Testament Church of God Choir belt out gospel tracks from their hit single ‘Strong Jamaican’ which thrilled the audience.  The occasion was UDC in association with Digicel Harbour Fest 2018 held on Friday August 31 along the Kingston Waterfront on Ocean Boulevard.  The event which took the form of a family festival, provided hundreds of patrons with a tantalizing mix of Jamaican food, craft, live entertainment, product and service sampling as well as free medical checks and play area for children. Harbour Fest represents the Corporation’s commitment to its mandate of facilitating the restoration of Downtown Kingston and promoting it as a preferred venue for business and events.The main sponsors for the event were: Digicel, Jamaica Cultural Development Commission (JCDC), Social Development Commission, (SDC), Kingston and St. Andrew Municipal Corporation (KSAMC), JDF Coast Guards, Waterfront Medical, Main Event Entertainment Limited, Arm Band Plus, Marathon Insurance Brokers, Jamaica Association of Composers, Authors & Publishers (JACAP) and Jamaica Music Society (JAMMS).
