The Urban Development Corporation (UDC), in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2015 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2018 invites sealed bids for the Provision of Consultancy Services to conduct a Social Impact Assessment for Government Campus.
Name of the project is Government Campus Project.
ELIGIBILITY OF BIDDERS:
Bidders MUST submit the following with their bids:
• A copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
• Copy of Registration/Certificate of Incorporation

SITE VISIT / PRE-BID MEETING:
A virtual Pre-Bid Meeting will be held. The date and time for the Pre-Bid Meeting are as follows:

Bidders attending the Pre-Bid Meeting must notify the Director, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement by email (firstname.lastname@example.org), no later than 12:00noon on Friday, September 17, 2021, listing the contact information of the individual who will attend, (name, e-mail address and telephone). A link will be issued only to bidders that confirmed their interest.
SCOPE OF WORKS:
Consultants/Firms will, among other things, complete audits to establish a baseline of the existing population, businesses/commercial entities, institutions, other organisations and infrastructure and their conditions; conduct Social Impact Assessments to identify intended and unintended social consequences, both negative and positive of the planned development- the Government Campus; and engage residents and stakeholders.

CLARIFICATION AND QUERIES:
The UDC will respond to any request for clarification received by Tuesday September 28, 2021.
DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS
Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm by Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2:00pm.
Late bids will be automatically rejected by the system.
An online bid opening will take place on Tuesday, October 5, 2021 at 2:15pm.
An online bid opening report will be generated by the GOJEP System and sent to all Bidders who submitted a bid.
