Job Summary:
This incumbent has the responsibility of developing business cases for the Corporation’s priority projects which include identifying and allocating the risks associated with each project, providing guidance on the options for structuring the projects and preparation of sophisticated financial models for real estate development, leasing, joint ventures, and capital structures. This is in addition to creating financial and commercially viable transaction structures for each project.

The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
¨ CFA, ACCA, CPA, or Master of Science Degree in Business Finance or Economics from an accredited tertiary institution.
¨ Ten (10) years’ experience in financial, economic and /or commercial development crafting and appraising investment projects and development financing at a senior level in a medium or large organization or development company.
¨ At least five (5) years’ experience in a Senior Finance position.
¨ Expert knowledge in economic and financial evaluation of project proposals.
¨ Expert knowledge of research methodology.
¨ Expert knowledge of Project Management and Project Management software.
¨ Sound knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Office.

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques
¨ Excellent administrative and interpersonal skills.
¨ Relevant industry experience in Real Estate is preferred.
¨ Exceptional quantitative modeling and analytical skills.
¨ Ability to communicate effectively in oral and written formats with the ability to formulate insights and opinions around complex business problems.
¨ Ability to work on own initiative.
¨ Confidentiality, tact and discretion in daily interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
¨ Effective negotiating skills, especially with partners that may simultaneously be clients as well as competitors.
¨ Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time while exploring new opportunities that will add strategic value.

· Conducts detailed analysis of financial feasibility of projects including modelling of Cash Flow and transaction structures
· Identifies and allocates the various risks associated with each project to the appropriate stakeholder
· Constructs and creates financing models that calculate value for money (VFM) and that evaluate the viability of real estate developments feasibility assumptions and net present values (NPV)
· Prepares sensitivity analyses to stress test the project’s cash flows, projected internal rate of return (IRR) and debt service coverage ratios (DSCR
