ASSISTANT MANAGER – TICKETING OFFICE (CONTRACT)

ST. ANN DEVELOPMENT COMPANY LIMITED REQUIRES THE SERVICE OF AN ASSISTANT MANAGER – TICKETING OFFICE (CONTRACT)

Job Summary:

The incumbent will have daily responsibility for the effective management of The World-Famous Dunn’s River Falls & Park Ticket Office and its related outstations.

The ideal candidate should have:

Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience

· A Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Tourism Management or have attained Level 11 ACCA accreditation or its equivalent from a recognized institution

· Sound knowledge of Accounting practices and financial systems

· Sound knowledge of managerial practices and principles

· Sound knowledge of computer applications and accounting software

· Sound knowledge of developing and implementing management and accounting control systems

· A minimum of five (5) years supervisory experience in a medium size tourism /hospitality entity or similar environment

· Experience in hospitality accounting at the minimum level of an Accountant would be an asset.

· Team Jamaica Certification would be an asset

· A foreign language would be asset

· Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills

· Ability to manage change initiatives

· Demonstrate tact and diplomacy

· Ability to work on own initiative
