Project Name:Replacement of Potable Water Tank at Dunn’s River Falls and Park
Description of Works:    The UDC is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the replacement of the existing water tank with a glass-fused-to-steel bolted 75,000 U.S gallons nominal capacity tank; including foundation, tank structure, dome and connection to the tank.
Eligibility:A valid TCC/TCL & registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of Tank Erection Grade 2 or above/ or Building Construction Grade 2 or above is required at the time of Bid Submission).  
Procurement Method:Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified by the Government of Jamaica (GoJ) Public Procurement Act, 2015 & Public Procurement Regulations, 2018.

Registration instructions are available on the website. Mandatory registration is required for vendors to participate.   A site visit will be scheduled on July 14, 2023. Interested bidders can confirm their availability via the GoJeP platform or email at Further details regarding the site visit can be accessed in the Standard Bidding Document.       Failure to obtain the bidding documents from the UDC via the GoJ Electronic Procurement website will result in the Bidder’s ineligibility to participate in the procurement process.
Deadline for submission:Bids must be submitted online via no later than August 15, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Jamaica Time (UTC 5). Late Bids will be automatically rejected by the system. Online Bid Opening takes place on the same day at 2:15 p.m.
