Volunteers Clean up Hellshire Bay Beach

The UDC collaborated with NEPA and the Ministry of Finance to host the event in commemoration of Ocean Conservancy’s International Coastal Clean-up Day (ICCD). Over 500 volunteers from corporate Jamaica, civic groups and educational institutions turned out to support the UDC and NEPA in their effort to rid the beach of debris. International Coastal Clean-up Day has been celebrated globally for the past 27 years.
