The Urban Development Corporation (UDC), as a part of its programme for the redevelopment of downtown Kingston, invites proposals for implementation of the Northern Parking Garage concept under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) initiative.
Interested parties are invited to submit a business plan which should include: a summary of the car-park development concept; schematic layouts to support the proposed concept; evidence of ability to finance the proposed development; and timeline for the completion of the proposed development. They should also provide a clear indication of the return on investment to the UDC from the execution of the proposed concept. Bidders are also required to show a clear indication of the UDC’s share allocation in the Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) to facilitate the development.
Collection of Information Packages from the UDC’s Revenue Generation Department began on Wednesday, April 23, 2014 and will end on Thursday, May 29, 2014. Sealed proposals must be deposited in the tender box located on the Ground Floor of the Office Centre Building by 3 p.m. on Thursday, May 29, 2014.
