The event which is endorsed by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) will serve to promote downtown Kingston as an ideal location for both business and pleasure. The UDC recently completed Phase 1 of major upgrading works at the Craft Market and is also spearheading the redevelopment of downtown Kingston and Port Royal. Stakeholders are being invited to visit the UDC’s website at and share their thoughts via a blog page to further inform this planning process for downtown Kingston.

The redevelopment of downtown Kingston and Port Royal is aligned with the Vision 2030 Jamaica national development plan which aims to make Jamaica the place of choice to work, live, raise families and do business.
