UDC to Tap into US$20 Million Destination

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is positioning itself to cement its place in the multimillion dollar destination wedding market through increased promotion of its event venues strategically located across the island.

The Corporation recently participated at the 2014 staging of Jamaica Bridal Expo and the Jamaica Product Exchange Expo (JAPEX) held at The Montego-Bay Convention Centre on September 20-21 and September 22 – 23 respectively.

UDC displayed its premiere wedding and event venues inclusive of Dunn’s River Falls and Park, Ocho Rios Bay Beach and Turtle River Park in Ocho Rios, Laughing Waters and Pearly Beach in St. Ann which are managed through its associate company, the St. Ann Development Company ,
The Corporation also manages the Caymanas Golf and Country Club, Two Sisters Cave and Fort Clarence Beach in St. Catherine, Bluefields Beach Park and Long Bay Beach Park 1 in Westmoreland, Long Bay Beach Park 2 in Hanover and the Jamaica Conference Centre in Kingston.
