Major Stakeholders of Falmouth Streetscape Project meet at Mayor’s Forum – Andre Hylton (left), Businessman and Member of Parliament lends his support to the development efforts in Falmouth as he addresses the gathering at the Mayor’s Forum held Tuesday, August 19, 2014 at the Falmouth Town Hall. Looking on is Mr. Junior Thompson,Architect at The Urban Development Corporation (UDC). The UDC is providing technical consultations and overseeing infrastructural enhancements and development of Harbour Lane, Falmouth Street, Market Street and Tharpe Street through the Falmouth Streetscape Project. The scope of the works to be completed includes the installation of street furniture, banners and directional signs, landscaping as well as the upgrading of road surfaces, drainage, kerbs and sidewalks.” Falmouth will also benefit from the installation of new raised pedestrian crosswalks for traffic management.
