Senator the Honourable KD Knight, OJ, QC, Chairman of the Board of the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), outlines the route for the 7.4km of force main pipeline to be constructed as a part of the Caymanas Estate Sewage Conveyance System to York Seaton (right), Managing Director, Y.P. Seaton & Associates Company Limited, Leo Taddeo (second left), Chairman and Chief Executive Officer and Desmond Young (left), Vice President, New Era Homes Limited at the signing of the contract for the historic capital expenditure project. The function was held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015 in UDC’s 7th floor Conference Room. The contract is valued at J$624 million and is expected to be implemented over an 8 months period. The system will convey sewage from Caymanas for final treatment at the Soapberry Wastewater Treatment Plan, St. Catherine.
