With the construction of the Dunn’s River Falls Central Gardens nearing completion, the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is welcoming proposals for the operation of a sealed liquor concession in newly built facilities at the park in Ocho Rios, St. Ann.

As a part of the continued development of the world-famous attraction, the current upgrade of the new Central Gardens valued at approximately $114 million will add another dimension to the experience of patrons and on completion will feature a splash zone, a water slide and a number of retail kiosks. The move is targeted at increasing the value-added options that are available to guests and expanding commercial activities at the venue. As such the UDC has designated additional space for the retail of commodities and services inclusive of the sale of sealed liquor.

Individuals or entities interested in tapping into this opportunity are invited to submit offers in accordance with the procedures detailed in the Information Memorandum Document (IMD) available on the UDC’s website at http://www.udcja.com/investments-opportunities. The IMD may also be accessed at the UDC’s Head Office at 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, as of Wednesday, June 1, 2016, between the hours of 9:00a.m. and 4:30p.m., Monday to Friday, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $2,500.00 by cash or Manager’s Cheque payable to the Urban Development Corporation.

Proposals must be deposited by Thursday, July 28, 2016 no later than 3:00 p.m., in the Tender Box, at the same location. Proposals should be labelled “Concessionaire to sell sealed Liquor” and addressed to:

The Director
Strategic Sourcing & Procurement Department
7th Floor Urban Development Corporation
12 Ocean Boulevard
Kingston Mall, Kingston

The opening of proposals will commence at 3:15 p.m. on the same day on the Ground Floor of the UDC Office. Submissions after the deadline will not be considered.
