UDC Awards GSAT bursaries: Ready to take on high school, children of Urban Development Corporation (UDC) staff members drawn from its different subsidiaries and entities across the island, who sat the Grade Six Achievement Test (GSAT) in March 2016, strike Usain Bolt’s trademark lightning pose. This year the UDC presented 30 students with bursaries of $10,000 each towards their academic expenses at the Funfest, recently held in their honour at the Festival Marketplace, Downtown Kingston. The Corporation has invested approximately $2.1 million since the inception of the annual GSAT awards programme at the UDC, resulting in many children of staff benefiting over the years.
