Pulmantur Monarch’s Call on Port of Kingston

Yes, it’s handmade in Jamaica – Suzie Williams, Craft Vendor advertises handmade merchandise from her stall at the Kingston Craft Market to Thuame Rios and Luis Hernandez, from Brasil and Mexico, respectively. The two were among the 2,700 passengers aboard the Pullmantur Monarch, which called on the Port of Kingston on Tuesday (Dec 6). The Kingston Craft Market, managed by the Urban Development Corporation (UDC), provided the visitors with a wide variety of Jamaican branded memorabilia from which to choose before transiting to other attractions within Kingston, St. Catherine and St. Ann. The cruise line is the first to dock in Kingston in three years, and marks a milestone for stakeholders engaged in sustained efforts to revitalize downtown Kingston as a prime centre for economic and recreational activity.
