The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) has put to market two prime properties in Cardiff Hall, St. Ann. The move comes as part of a thrust to enable increased economic activity in the designated area by facilitating private sector investments.
The first parcel of land comprises 11 acres of prime white sand beachfront property located 20 minutes from Ocho Rios, and one hour from Sangster International Airport. The property is ideal for the development of resort villas, townhouses and apartments and can accommodate a jogging trail, club house and pool. Interested parties are invited to submit their proposals labelled “Sale of 11.27 Acre Property, Cardiff Hall, St. Ann” for this offer no later than April 13, 2017at 1:00 p.m.
The second property spans 21 acres situated inland, in proximity to a golf course and is suitable for residential/resort use. The deadline for applications for this property is April 13, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. Submissions should be labelled “Sale of 21.6 Acre Property, Cardiff Hall, St. Ann”
Applicants are invited to submit offers in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Information Memorandum Documents (IMDs), available on the UDC’s website at http://www.udcja.com/investments-opportunities. The documents can also be accessed at the address below, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $2,500.00 by cash or Manager’s Cheque to the Urban Development Corporation.

Proposals must be deposited by the specified deadlines into the Tender Box, located on the Ground Floor of the Office Centre Building, 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston Mall, where the opening of proposals will commence at 1:15 p.m. and 2:15 p.m. respectively on the same day on the Ground Floor of the UDC Office.
