UDC offices temporarily close to facilitate sanitization

August 24, 2020. Kingston Jamaica: The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) advises that it has closed its Office Centre Building, Downtown Kingston on Monday 24th August, 2020 after the Ministry of Health and Wellness confirmed a COVID-19 case on a tenanted floor of its premises. The closure is in keeping with the Ministry’s protocols and the Corporation maintains close contact with officials from the Public Health Department to ensure that it adheres to government guidelines.

As such, the Building will be closed tomorrow, Tuesday 25th and Wednesday 26th August, 2020. Barring no further issues, the premises will reopen for business on Thursday 27th August, 2020.

UDC’s Response and Recovery Task Force COVID-19 sanitization protocols were enhanced on August 19, 2020, further to receiving notice of a suspected case at the Office Centre Building.

The Corporation is committed to securing the health and wellbeing off its staff, tenants, customers and visitors and continues to support the national effort to flatten the curve and contain COVID-19.
