| Description of Works: | The UDC is seeking a suitably qualified contractor to execute renovation works at the JCC. The work consists of removal and replacement of fixtures, fittings, wall and ceiling finishes in the west concourse, southern concourse and Harbour Lounge corridors. It also involves the redesigning of the bars in the Harbour Lounge, the construction of a green wall in the southern concourse, and the completion of the water feature in the west concourse. |
| Eligibility: | A valid TCC & registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category of Building Construction OR Interior Construction Works Minimum Grade 1 is required at the time of Bid Submission). |
| Procurement Method: | Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding (NCB) procedures as specified by the Government of Jamaica (GoJ) Public Procurement Act, 2015 and Amendments & Public Procurement Regulation, 2018. |

| Tender Document: Site Visit: | Available on the GoJ Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm. Bidding Documents will be available for download as of July 13, 2023. Registration instructions are available on the website. Mandatory registration is required for vendors to participate. A MANDATORY site visit is scheduled to be held at the Jamaica Conference Centre located at 14-20 Port Royal St, Kingston on July 31, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. Bidders wishing to participate should contact the undersigned by end of business day July 27, 2023. Failure to obtain the bidding documents from the UDC via the GoJ Electronic Procurement website will result in the Bidder’s ineligibility to participate in the procurement process. |
| Deadline for submission: | Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm no later than October 5, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. Jamaica Time (UTC 5). Late Bids will be automatically rejected by the system. Online Bid Opening takes place on the same day at 2:15 p.m. |
