PROVISION OF LANDSCAPE MANAGEMENT AND MAINTENANCE SERVICES AT HARMONY BEACH PARK, MONTEGO BAY, ST. JAMES

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites suitable qualified Bidders to submit bids for the Provision of Landscape Management and Maintenance Services at Harmony Beach Park, Montego Bay, St, James.

Scope of Works:
The project entails landscape management and maintenance services of the 16-acre beach front property of Harmony Beach Park, which was recently landscaped with a diverse variety of approximately 700 plant species, 9000 shrubs and 7 acres of zoysia lawn.

Eligibility of Bidders:
Bidders MUST submit the following with their bids:
· A copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) / Tax Compliance Letter (TCL)
· A copy of a valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Registration Certificate in the General Services Category specializing in Ground Maintenance or Works Category, specializing in Landscaping, Grades 1-4
· Bid Security of $250,000.00

Bids submitted without the eligibility documents will be automatically rejected.

Collection of Bidding Document:
This in an online Tender, where bidding documents and bids will only be made available and accepted via the electronic Government Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm).

Bidding Documents will be available, for download, on August 2, 2022.

Pre-Bid / Site Visit Meeting:
The location, date and time for the Pre-Bid / Site Visit Meeting are as follows:

Location: Harmony Beach Park, Montego Bay, St. James
Date: August 9, 2022
Time: 11:00 a.m.

Bidders wishing to attend the Pre-Bid / Site Visit Meeting must notify the Director – Strategic Sourcing & Procurement by email (tenders@udcja.com), no later than 12:00 noon on, August 8, 2022, listing the contact information of the individual who will attend, (name, e-mail address and telephone).

Please also note all COVID-19 protocols will be observed during the pre-bid meeting and as such each firm will be limited to one (1) representative. The representative must wear a mask and walk with hand sanitizer for personal use during the meeting.

Clarification and Queries:
The UDC will respond to any request for clarification received by August 18, 2022.

Bid Submissions:
No offline (hard copy) will be accepted and there will be no physical tender box for drop-off of bids.

The deadline for submission of bids via www.gojep.gov.jm is August 25, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Late bids will be automatically rejected by the system.

Bid Opening:
An online bid opening will take place on August 25, 2022 at 2:15 p.m.

An online bid opening report will be generated by the GOJEP System and sent to all Bidders who submitted a bid.
