Procurement of Works Southern Groyne, North Gully Revetment and Harmony Beach Park Completion, Montego Bay, St. James

The Urban Development Corporation (UDC), in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2015 and the Public Procurement Regulations, 2018 invites sealed bids for the ‘Procurement of Works – Southern Groyne, North Gully Revetment and Harmony Beach Park Completion at Montego Bay, St. James’.

ELIGIBILITY OF BIDDERS:

Bidders shall submit the following with their bids:

  • A copy of a valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC)
  • A copy of a valid Public Procurement Commission (PPC) Certificate of Registration in the categories of Building Construction and/or Civil Engineering Works – Grade 1 and Marine Engineering – Grade 1
  • Bid security of JMD$2,500,000.00

Bids submitted without a valid TCC, PPC and Bid Security will be automatically rejected.

AVAILABILITY OF BIDDING DOCUMENTS:

Bidding Documents will be available for download as of October 10, 2022 on the Government of Jamaica Electronic Procurement website (www.gojep.gov.jm)

SITE VISIT/PRE-BID MEETING:

A site visit will be held as part of the pre-bid meeting. The location, date and time for the Pre-Bid / Site Visit Meeting are as follows:

Location:  Harmony Beach Park, Montego Bay, St. James

Date:         October 27, 2022

Time:        11:00 a.m.

Bidders attending the Pre-Bid Meeting must notify the Director – Strategic Sourcing and Procurement by email (tenders@udcja.com), no later than 12:00 noon on October 26, 2022, listing the contact information of the individual who will attend.

CLARIFICATION AND QUERIES:

The UDC will respond to any request for clarification received by January 3, 2023.

DEADLINE FOR SUBMISSION OF BIDS:

Bids must be submitted online via  www.gojep.gov.jm  by January 10, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. Late bids will be automatically rejected by the system.

BID OPENING:

An online bid opening will take place on January 10, 2023 at 2:15 p.m.

An online bid opening report will be generated by the GOJEP System and sent to all Bidders who submitted a bid.

This is an online tender where bids will only be made available and accepted via the Government Electronic Procurement Portal (www.gojep.gov.jm). No offline (hardcopy) bids will be accepted and there will be no physical box for drop-off of bid documents.
