| Description of Works: | The UDC is seeking a suitably qualified contractor for the replacement of the existing water tank at The World Famous Dunn’s River Falls and Park with a glass-fused-to-steel bolted 75,000 U.S gallons nominal capacity tank; including foundation, tank structure, dome, and connection to the tank. |
| Eligibility: | A valid Tax Compliance Certificate/ Letter (TCC/TCL) & registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the category Building Construction– Grade 1 OR Tank Erection- Grade 1 is required at the time of Bid Submission. |
| Procurement Method: | Bidding will be conducted through the National Competitive Bidding procedures as specified by the Government of Jamaica (GoJ) Public Procurement Act, 2015 & Public Procurement Regulation, 2018. |

| Tender Document: Site Visit: | Will be available for download as of November 21, 2024, from the GoJ Electronic Procurement website at www.gojep.gov.jm. Registration instructions are available on the website at https://www.gojep.gov.jm/epps/home.do. Mandatory registration is required for suppliers to participate. A site visit is scheduled to be held at Dunn’s River Falls & Park, St. Ann on December 5, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. Bidders wishing to participate should send an email to tenders@udcja.com by end of the business day December 4, 2024. Failure to obtain the bidding documents from the UDC via the GoJ Electronic Procurement website will result in the Bidder’s ineligibility to participate in the procurement process. |
| Deadline for submission: | Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm no later than January 9, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. Jamaica Time (UTC 5). Late Bids will be automatically rejected by the system. Online Bid Opening takes place on the same day at 2:15 p.m. |
