Kingston, Jamaica November 1, 2025: The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) advises that its head office at 12 Ocean Boulevard, downtown Kingston, will reopen on Monday, November 3, 2025, as the Corporation works to restore normal operations and contribute actively to Jamaica’s national recovery following Hurricane Melissa.
All other UDC offices across the island, along with all UDC-managed attractions, will remain closed as teams continue assessments, cleanup, and restoration. The Corporation extends heartfelt concern to all Jamaicans impacted by the hurricane and stands in full solidarity with the ongoing national recovery effort.
The UDC says its teams are focused on restoring facilities and supporting community recovery efforts across the island and remain committed to playing a lead role in rebuilding a stronger Jamaica. The Corporation encourages the public to stay connected through its official platforms for updates on the reopening of its offices and attractions.
