ingston, Jamaica | December 29, 2025: The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) is set to deliver the UDC Fireworks Festival 2025 on Wednesday, December 31, inviting Jamaicans across the island to come out and enjoy a full day and night of celebration in the form of a street party as the country welcomes the New Year.
The festival will be staged simultaneously across five locations, ensuring broad national access to the celebration. Activities and fireworks displays will take place in Downtown Kingston at the Kingston Waterfront, Ocho Rios at Ocho Rios Bay Beach, Montego Bay at Harmony Beach Park, Negril at the Long Bay Beach Football Field on the Hanover-Westmoreland border, and Black River at the Black River Courthouse.
Festivities begin at 12:00 p.m. with the Kiddies Treat, creating a safe and enjoyable space for families and children. The New Year’s Eve Party officially gets underway at 6:00 p.m., leading into an evening of entertainment via disc jockey with no live performances and the highly anticipated fireworks displays as Jamaicans countdown to midnight. Activities at all locations will run through to 12:00 a.m., offering a shared national moment to ring in the New Year together.
The UDC Fireworks Festival 2025 is being delivered under the theme Life. Love. Recovery., reflecting the country’s collective resilience and the importance of coming together in moments of national significance. Beyond entertainment, the festival continues to activate public spaces, support vendors and creatives, and foster community connection across Jamaica.
