Job Summary:
The incumbent has the responsibility to undertake driving activities to provide transportation, make deliveries and collections as directed; in addition to ensuring proper care of assigned vehicle.
The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
- Secondary level education
- A minimum of three (3) years’ general driving
- Holder of a valid general driver’s license
- Knowledge of the operation of various types of motor vehicles
- Basic mechanical knowledge
- Sound knowledge of the road code and safety driving practices
Required Skills and Specialized Techniques
- Ability to operate varied forms of vehicles
- Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in oral format
- Ability to exercise initiative in expediting duties
- Good interpersonal skills
