Job Summary:
The incumbent is required to provide administrative and secretarial services to the General Manager’s Office, including the control and monitoring of all documents and files entering and leaving the Office of the General Manager to ensure they are promptly actioned.
The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
- CPS with 5 GCE/CXCs including English Language and Mathematics and 4 years experience in a similar position, or
- Diploma in Secretarial Studies/Business Administration or equivalent with 3 years experience in a similar position
- Sound knowledge of Computer applications such as Word and Excel
- Sound knowledge of administrative and office procedures
- Sound knowledge of File Management techniques
- Sound knowledge of Minutes Taking and reproduction
Required Skills and Specialized Techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written forms
- Expert typing and speedwriting skills
- Sound minute taking and minute preparation skills
- Expert telephone techniques
- Excellent human relations skills
- Excellent time management skills
