| Description of Works: Risk to be covered: | The Urban Development Corporation (UDC) invites proposals from suitably qualified and eligible insurance companies and insurance brokers registered/licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC) and registered with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC), as applicable, to provide insurance placement and related insurance brokerage services for the Urban Development Corporation (UDC) and its subsidiaries. The insurance programme is expected to include the following classes of insurance coverage: All Risks (excluding Named Windstorm)Business InterruptionCommercial All RisksCommercial Motor – Special Type ComprehensiveCombined Motor ComprehensiveCombined Motor – Laid-Up Fire and TheftEmployers’ LiabilityExcess Auto LiabilityFidelity GuaranteeGoods in TransitLoss of MoneyMotorcycle ComprehensivePlant, Machinery and Equipment All RisksPrivate Motor ComprehensivePublic/Products Liability The insurance placement will be for a period of three (3) years, commencing May 1, 2027, or such other date as may be specified in the Solicitation Documents. |
| Eligibility: | Interested bidders must satisfy the eligibility requirements specified in the Solicitation Documents, including, as applicable: A valid Tax Compliance Certificate (TCC) or Tax Compliance Letter (TCL);Valid registration with the Public Procurement Commission (PPC) in the applicable category of Insurance Services; andValid registration/licensing with the Financial Services Commission (FSC) to provide the relevant insurance or insurance intermediary services. Bidders must meet all other eligibility and qualification requirements stipulated in the Solicitation Documents. |
| Procurement Method: | Bidding will be conducted through National Competitive Bidding (NCB) in accordance with the Public Procurement Act, 2015, as amended, the Public Procurement Regulations, 2018, as amended, and applicable Government of Jamaica public procurement policies and procedures. |

| Solicitation Document: Site Visit: | Available on the GoJ Electronic Procurement website www.gojep.gov.jm. Solicitation Documents are available for download as of September 8, 2026. Registration instructions are available on the website. Mandatory registration is required for vendors to participate. Bidders may, where applicable, visit and examine the relevant UDC properties and/or locations and obtain, at their own responsibility and risk, all information that may be necessary for the preparation of their proposals and for entering into the procurement contract. The costs associated with any site visit shall be borne entirely by the Bidder. Failure to obtain the Solicitation Documents from the UDC via the GoJ Electronic Procurement website will result in the Bidder’s ineligibility to participate in the procurement process. |
| Deadline for submission: | Bids must be submitted online via www.gojep.gov.jm no later than October 26, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. Jamaica Time (UTC 5). Late Bids will be automatically rejected by the system. Online Bid Opening takes place on the same day at 2:15 p.m. |
