The Urban Development Corporation hereby invites qualified individuals and entities to submit comprehensive proposals for the lease, development, and management of Reach Falls Attraction, lands part of the Muirton district, Portland, Jamaica, registered at volume 1174, folio 763. This strategically located site, comprising approximately 3.8205 hectares (9.4407 acres), presents an exceptional opportunity for the establishment of recreational facilities that will enhance the local tourism landscape. The lease agreement will be granted for a medium-term duration of 25 years, with rental reviews every five (5) years, with annual increases tied to the consumer price index (CPI), allowing for significant investment and development potential.
Applicants are invited to submit offers in accordance with the procedures stipulated in the Information Memorandum Document (IMD), which is available on UDC’s website at https://udcja.com/tenders-rfps-and-leases/. The document is also available at the address below, as of Tuesday, July 7th, 2026, between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday to Friday, upon payment of a non-refundable fee of $2,500 by cash or manager’s cheque to the Urban Development Corporation.
Proposals must be deposited by Friday, August 21st, 2026, no later than 2:00 PM in the tender box on the seventh floor of Urban Development Corporation (Office Centre Building), 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston, marked Request for Proposals, Lease and Development Lands Part of Muirton District, Portland: Reach Falls. Proposals submitted after this date will be automatically rejected.
An official public opening of bids/offers will commence at 2:15 p.m. on the same day at the offices of the Urban Development Corporation (Office Centre Building), 12 Ocean Boulevard, Kingston.
